Why are there no prices on your website?

Every website I create is different and every client requires different features and functionality from their site. I charge a fixed price per website based upon what is required. If the client needs additional functionality then this will be charged on a per hourly basis.

I've seen a website I like, can you design my site to have similar features?

Lacey Tech designs websites based around the clients needs, while giving our professional input along the way. If there is a website that you would like us to use as an example then that is fine. We never copy other websites and we always design unique websites that meets the requirements and expectations of our clients.

When you start developing my website, how will I be notified of it's progress?

We can notify you as often or as little as you like, using whatever contact method you prefer. Most of the time our clients prefer email, other prefer a phone call or text message. If you need to contact us about your project using the contact form and we will get back to you within 12 hours.

How long does it take to make a website?

This will always depend upon what features your website requires, and how quickly your website design is completed. Usually a website can be completed within 12 - 16 weeks, however this may be longer and should only be used as a rough estimate.

Are there any fees after the website has been developed?

There is a fee for hosting your website online and this is agreed during the initial meeting.
You need to make annual or bi-annual payments for your domain name (what the website is called).
If you need help adding or editing content on your website then this will charged at our hourly rate. If you have a content managed website then no charge for editing the content on your site.

We need more visitors to our site, can you offer marketing assistance?

We offer search engine optimization services to help people find your website using search engines like Google, Yahoo and Bing. We can also offer social media marketing (Twitter, Facebook, LinkedIn etc) to help boost visitors to your site and turn those visitors into customers.

What if I have a technical problem with my website?

Every website is thoroughly tested before completion to ensure everything is working as requested. For peace of mind I offer 30 days after sales support for every website. This is absolutely free and is offered via email or telephone communication. If the website experiences problems within the first 30 days after sign-off I will fix these free or charge; after this period a website maintenance fee will be charged.

I do not have enough money to pay up front, do you have any payment options?

For all web-based services we ask that a 50% deposit is paid so we can start work on your website. You won't need to place another payment until the website is complete.

If a payment is missed the project will be put on hold until payment is received. if payment is not received 14 days after it is due then a 5% compounded monthly fee will be incurred.
